Road Signs in Ireland
REGULATORY ROAD SIGNS
These signs indicate the existance of a road regulation and show the course a driver must follow, the action he is permitted to take or action he is forbidden to take. They are generally circular in shape, with a red surround and with black symbols / letters on a white background.
WARNING SIGNS
These signs give advance warning of a hazard, are diamond shapes with black symbols / letter on a yellow background.

Signs of the following kind may be seen to indicate facilities and amenities of particular interest to tourists.
